Verv Network Private Limited (“ZYNTRA”) warrants that every small-format battery energy storage system will remain free from manufacturing defects, component failures, and firmware-related performance issues for a total coverage period of five (5) years commencing from the official date of onsite commissioning.
This warranty does not cover ZYNTRA+
Utility BESS, C&I BESS and all other infrastructure-scale ZYNTRA+ installations are excluded from this policy entirely. ZYNTRA+ warranty terms, duration and service levels are established separately, per project, in the applicable commercial agreement — never assume ZYNTRA+ coverage from this document.
1Purpose & scope of coverage
This policy defines the comprehensive service metrics, turnaround times, and customer protections governing the maintenance and repair of the equipment. Unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing, infrastructure-scale ZYNTRA+ container installations are governed by standalone enterprise project contracts and sit outside the scope of this public policy.
2Technical specifications & operational boundaries
To preserve active eligibility for warranty protections, all systems must be deployed indoors and operated strictly within the manufacturer-defined cut-off parameters enforced by the integrated ZYNTRA Battery Management System (BMS). Safety boundaries scale precisely according to nominal pack architecture configuration.

3The five-year onsite warranty structure
ZYNTRA provides a unified five (5) year service lifecycle framework, split into two operational tiers.
- Tier 1 — Years 1–2: comprehensive component and assembly coverage
- ZYNTRA assumes full financial liability for all parts, replacement cells, integrated BMS boards, labour fees, travel mobilisation expenses, and round-trip logistics for defects arising from material, assembly, or performance failures.
- Tier 2 — Years 3–5: service and labour protection coverage
- ZYNTRA continues to waive all technical service labour fees, engineering call-out diagnostics charges, and freight transportation costs. Replacement parts or components required to restore system functionality during Tier 2 are billed to the client at actual procurement cost.
4Performance assurance & life cycle protection
ZYNTRA guarantees that your high-grade Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) stationary storage system will retain a minimum of 75% usable capacity over the initial 1,500 cycles or five (5) years, whichever comes first.
If verified degradation falls below this performance threshold due to cell instability, module repair or replacement will be fully executed under the terms of this warranty.
5Three-tier service level agreement
If a system encounters a fault, technical response times follow a three-tier escalation matrix.
- Level 1 — Remote engineering support, days 1 to 3
- ZYNTRA's centralised remote diagnostic team acknowledges all formal tickets within one business day. Digital monitoring loops, firmware optimisation updates, and BMS parameter assessments are initiated within 24 hours of confirmation to clear standard soft errors.
- Level 2 — Onsite field intervention, days 3 to 7
- If remote diagnostic analysis proves insufficient to clear the alert state, a Field Service Engineer is dispatched directly to the installation site. Engineers operate out of regional logistics nodes to perform active component testing and direct hardware restoration on site at no baseline cost to the client.
- Level 3 — Workshop service retrieval, days 7 to 10
- Major faults requiring full hardware repair trigger a retrieval. ZYNTRA coordinates, collects and transports the system using factory-standard custom packaging, assuming all transit risks and asset logistics tracking until the asset is returned to service. If a repair window faces an unexpected extension, ZYNTRA provides standby power support to eliminate operational disruption.
6Conditions of warranty invalidation
Warranty protections are strictly unit-specific, non-transferable, and require an unbroken chain of compliant operation. Coverage is immediately voided upon the occurrence of any of the following.
- Tampering and software modification
- Any unauthorised attempt to alter system firmware, adjust factory edge settings, bypass the integrated hardware BMS control loop, or break physical factory component enclosure seals.
- Operating and environmental violations
- Operating the battery cells in unconditioned exterior environments exposed directly to moisture or thermal conditions outside specified limits. This includes destructive sub-zero charging below 0°C (32°F) internal core temperature unless protected by an authorised ZYNTRA thermal enclosure.
- Physical damage and negligence
- Cracking, physical impact damage, drops during relocation by uncertified third parties, deep-discharge asset neglect, or severe electrical anomalies including external utility line voltage surges and lightning strikes.
- Non-compliant installation
- Failure of the initial integration team to submit the required video verification records and point-by-point checklist demonstrating full alignment with ZYNTRA's step-by-step Standard Operating Procedure.
7Mandatory digital commissioning checklist
To be completed and submitted alongside continuous video evidence by the certified installer at switch-on, to activate the five-year coverage period.
- Part A — Installation verification
- Lead installer name; contact phone and email; unique battery system ID.
Part B — Pre-charge inverter integration checklist:
- System securely mounted inside an indoor, protected, well-ventilated location.
- Battery connected to solar or hybrid inverter using the provided factory connector.
- Battery configuration profile on the inverter menu set explicitly to “Lithium/LFP”.
- Maximum overcharge cut-off voltage verified and set according to the model spec sheet.
- Minimum low-battery drop cut-off voltage verified and set according to the model spec sheet.
- Charging current limit restricted to 50 A or less on the inverter programming dashboard.
- Customer fully briefed on safe operating parameters and circular buy-back paths.
Activation
Coverage begins once your certified installer completes this checklist and submits verification records at switch-on, confirming correct installation, inverter configuration, and voltage and current settings for your specific model.
8Dispute resolution & legal jurisdiction
In the event of an unresolved dispute regarding engineering diagnostics, warranty eligibility, or root-cause analysis, the issue is escalated to senior management for an internal negotiation window lasting a minimum of thirty (30) days. If an amicable settlement cannot be reached, the dispute is referred to independent, binding third-party technical arbitration conducted under the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. This policy is governed exclusively by the laws of India.
